War Child has worked closely with the music and film industries since 1995, when we released our initial ‘Help Album’ – a Britpop superstar compilation that raised £1.25 million to support children caught up in the Bosnia conflict.
Some great talents have been involved with us over the years, including Sir Paul McCartney, David Bowie, U2, Brian Eno, Pavarotti, Coldplay, Bob Dylan, Oasis, Stevie Wonder, Paul Weller and Elbow. Their support has helped raise vital funds for War Child’s work.
War Child BRITs Week, together with O2, is an annual incredible line-up of the biggest names in music performing in small and intimate venues—and it's all to help raise money for children whose lives have been torn apart by war.
Keep those eyes peeled around Dec 2017/Jan 2018 for the announcement of 2018's BRITs Week line-up ...
