The Right To Dance

The Right To Dance is War Child's Award-winning dance music charity platform.

A new fundraising movement in collaboration with the underground music community.

Since 1993, we have been working with children impacted by conflict to keep them safe, give them an education, equip them with skills for the future, and stand up for their rights. We provide ‘safe spaces’ for childhood to be reclaimed, and where simple pleasures like laughter, playing and dancing can be rediscovered.

Striving for children's right to community, freedom, identity and self-expression is crucial to our work in the field, and are values shared by underground music scenes worldwide, built through collective support and strength.

This universal connection is at the heart of The Right To Dance, a new fundraising model that reframes the idea of a donation, through the shared values and collaboration of the underground music community. Your support in joining this movement will help improve the lives of the children we work with across the world.
