CHILDREN IN AFGHANISTAN NEED YOUR SUPPORT
Four decades of conflict in Afghanistan have left 23.7 million people in need of humanitarian assistance. A staggering 12.6 million of them are children.
Children face acute physical danger from mines and unexploded devices. High unemployment and rising prices mean households struggle to survive, with hunger and malnutrition widespread. The public healthcare system has collapsed and access to other basic services is extremely limited. The 2023 earthquake in Herat and subsequent drought as well as the 2025 earthquake in the Nangarhar province have further intensified the urgent need for aid.
War Child has been supporting children in Afghanistan since 2002. Children and families still urgently need your support and basic essentials. Your help means that we can provide children with food, a safe space, hygiene kits and psychological first aid.
Donate today and help us continue our life-saving work in Afghanistan and in war zones all around the world.
