At War Child, we believe in the power of people to support children living through the horrors of conflict. Every fundraiser plays a vital role in helping us deliver life-changing mental health care, education, and protection to some of the world’s most vulnerable children.
Over the past few months, we’ve seen just that: a wave of inspiring fundraisers who’ve gone the extra mile (literally and figuratively). From young changemakers to lifelong challengers, these amazing supporters have gone above and beyond to make a difference for children living through conflict:
🍋 Arya raised £40.60 for War Child with her homemade lemonade stand in May!
🏃♂️ Victor ran the London Marathon and raised £1,737, part of a collective £11,817 raised by 7 incredible runners who each dedicated their general ballot places to fundraise for children living through conflict.
🚴♀️ Elaine and Katie raised a total of £3,538 through their epic Land’s End to John O’Groats cycle. They first completed the cycle at 27, and made a pact to do it again at 60!
🥾 Zuhal took on the Jurassic Coast Challenge, raising £110!
