What does a typical day at War Child look like for you?

My tasks are really varied and I work across three teams which keeps things lively. I love being involved in a range of activities from gaming activations to fundraising dinners.

What do you enjoy about your role and/or working for War Child?

I am grateful to contribute to an organisation whose work I care so deeply about. I always feel motivated by the impact that War Child’s work is having and hearing updates from the country teams.

How would you describe the working culture at War Child?

When I first started, people told me how amazing it is to work for War Child and how special the team is - 10 months in, I couldn't agree more! I’ve found the leadership team really supportive and everyone plays a part in making this an inspiring and driven work community. I’ve also made some amazing friends!

What is your most memorable moment from working at War Child?

At a time of seemingly insurmountable global challenges, I am continuously moved by the way the whole War Child community (fundraising offices and country offices) comes together to deliver our services and support each other.

What would you say to someone thinking of applying for a role at War Child?

War Child is a lively, fast-paced place to work. There are always new ideas and creative initiatives. I love the clarity and purpose of our work and sense of collective commitment. I can’t wait to work with you!
