Philanthropy, Trusts and Foundations

Whether you’re making a large personal donation or through a trust and foundation, your support will transform the lives of children caught up in conflict.

Your gift is vital in enabling us to help children affected by war, providing them with support and hope, wherever they are.

Whether you’re making a large personal donation or through a trust and foundation we will ensure your gift has a life-changing impact on those who need it most.

We understand that you may want to support a specific area of our work - from giving access to education to children in Yemen, to reuniting children with their families in Afghanistan - and so we will work together to meet your objectives.

Why War Child?

War Child is the only specialised organisation for children affected by conflict. We exist to support children and their families in some of the most volatile contexts in the world.

We deliver our high-impact programmes, across interventions in protection, education, and livelihoods as well as working with children and young people to change systems and practices that affect them – campaigning on the root causes of conflict and demanding that children are at the centre of the global humanitarian response.

Our network

We are proud to be supported by a large network of philanthropists, trusts, and foundations. Find out more about some of these partnerships below. View all

Donor Testimonial

'In war zones it is always children that have their innocence shattered and their sanctity destroyed. That is why, when I first learned of War Child’s work in 2008 after meeting the organisation’s CEO and hearing of the terrible situation facing children living in Afghanistan, I wanted to help. I have been proud to support the charity ever since, and have seen it reach more and more children in conflict, as well as respond swiftly to new crises around the world.

War Child’s work has a life-changing impact on vulnerable children and their families who are living in dangerous unstable environments and I admire its commitment to help provide hope and stability to those suffering on the front line.'
