War Child Records

War Child Records is an independent label set up to harness the power of recorded music to change the lives of children affected by conflict.

Bringing the War Child catalogue to a new generation of fans.

War Child has an incredible heritage working with artists and the music industry to release impactful records. This kicked off with the release of the HELP album in 1995, which brought together the likes of Oasis, Blur, Massive Attack, Portishead,  Radiohead and a little know supergroup, The Smokin Mojo Filters consisting of Paul Weller, Paul McCartney and Noel Gallagher. The album  is still hailed as one of the greatest charity albums of all time and helped set War Child on the proud course it now follows.

In the years that have followed, a further four albums have been released for War Child - 1Love, Hope, Help! A Day In The Life and War Child Heroes - as well as singles and EPs featuring everyone from Gorillaz, Beth Orton and Emmanuel Jal to Tinchy Stryder, Beverly Knight and Coldplay.

War Child Records proudly reissued the HELP in September 2020 in celebration of the 25th anniversary of its release making it available across streaming platform for the first time. A year later, the whole award-winning catalogue of releases was reissued, making them available again to both committed fans and a brand new audience.

War Child Records is now working with the artists and creatives, who are defining the sound of today, on new recorded music projects. So watch this space!
