What does a typical day at War Child look like for you?
I spend most my week based in our HQ in between Camden and Kentish Town, it’s an area that connects to so much of our history and roots in music. As part of the Fundraising Engagement team, my work is across such a wide range of creative projects and opportunities. From meeting with artists to scope out collaborations to hearing the latest from our programmes and colleagues from around the world, it’s such a cliche but every day is different!
What do you enjoy about your role and/or working for War Child?
I most enjoy being able to work with artists, designers, musicians, and creatives to make big ideas happen that bring the stories and voices of the children and communities we work with to the forefront.
How would you describe the working culture at War Child?
At War Child it’s hard to not be inspired by everyone who works here. The unifying goal of supporting children living through some of the hardest situations imaginable connects us all and becomes deeply rooted within the working culture of compassion and ambition. It’s a vibrant and friendly organisation, where everyone’s support for each other has no limit.
