Children caught up in the war in Sudan are living through the world’s worst humanitarian crisis.
Brutal fighting and armed violence are forcing terrified children and their families to flee their homes, leaving everything they know behind.
15 million children are in desperate need of humanitarian assistance. Large parts of the country are experiencing famine, and children are living in makeshift shelters, with no access to basic essentials. Many have experienced violence so distressing, the trauma will last a lifetime.
But War Child is on the ground in Sudan and neighbouring countries, delivering urgently needed supplies to children trying to survive this devastating conflict. Our local partners and teams are providing safe spaces and lifechanging mental health first aid for children who are orphaned and alone.
