What does a typical day at War Child look like for you?

I’m an early bird, so I like to use the first couple of hours in the day (before our core hours of 10 am – 4 pm) to tackle my meatier tasks—like writing copy for an upcoming cash appeal—before moving on to meetings, high-volume tasks, and ad hoc requests.

What do you enjoy about your role and/or working for War Child?

My longest tenures have been with other international development charities like Save the Children and UNICEF, so I’m really happy to be back in this space at War Child, doing what I’m passionate about: helping children everywhere towards the brightest future possible.

How would you describe the working culture at War Child?

The working culture at War Child is flexible and approachable, with a strong dose of fun.

What is your most memorable moment from working at War Child?

I’ll admit I hadn’t realised how deeply War Child’s history is connected music before joining, so one of my most memorable moments has been seeing BRITs Week in action and attending one of the shows – an unforgettable experience!
