Take Action

At War Child we campaign to support the rights of children caught up in war, and to tackle the causes of conflict.

Enough is enough – our Syria campaign

Currently our priority campaign is bring an end to the fighting and protect children fleeing the war in Syria. The fighting in Syria has been going on for over five years. Almost half a million people have been killed, nearly 5 million have fled the country, and over 6 million are displaced inside Syria. War Child is calling for concerted action by the international community to stop the targeting of civilians and children and to bring an end to the fighting.

And we strongly believe that the UK government can play a leadership role in this.

I’ve moved, my rights haven’t

We're campaigning for the rights of children who have been forced to flee their homes because of conflict or persecution.

All children should have the same rights, wherever they are. The right to be protected from harm and exploitation, to go to school, and access medical care.

But for children displaced by war, these rights are not protected; they are routinely ignored.

We're calling on world leaders (specifically UK Prime Minister Theresa May) to develop a global action plan which would promote the rights of children forced to flee war.
