Whistleblowing policy

This policy is designed to enable War Child UK employees and representatives to raise concerns internally and at a high level and to disclose information which they believe demonstrates malpractice or impropriety.

Overview

For War Child nothing is more important than the safety and security of our staff and the children and communities we support. 

We are committed to the highest standards of openness, probity, and accountability. As employees and representatives of War Child UK we must practice honesty and integrity in fulfilling our responsibilities and comply with all applicable laws, regulations and our Code of Conduct. 

  

Whistleblowing reports can be disclosed by: 

  • Email to the central Whistleblowing email address - [email protected]. Emails sent to this email address will be monitored by the HQ People and Achievement Team; 
  • A letter can be sent to Whistleblowing, War Child UK, Dunn’s Hat Factory (4th Floor) 106-110 Kentish Town Road, NW1 9PX, UK. Letters sent to this address will be opened by the HQ People and Achievement Team; 
  • Our Chair of the Board of Trustees, John Fallon, can be contacted by email at [email protected]
  • Our Treasurer of the Board of Trustees, Heather Francis, can be contacted by email at [email protected]
