Volunteer at festivals with War Child
Volunteering is a great way to experience a festival this summer. You will not only get the chance to attend the festivals for free but you will also help some of the most vulnerable children affected by war. What could be better?
This year we need volunteers for Field Day, Lovebox, Citadel and Wilderness.
You’ll be the eyes and ears of the festival; providing information to festival goers, directing queues, staffing emergency exits, and generally making sure everyone is happy and safe.
You will get free entry to the festival and a meal voucher per shift on top of meeting new people and learning new skills.
For Field Day, Lovebox and Citadel we require you to work a 6 hour shift per day and for Wilderness you will have to fulfil 3x8hour shifts over the four festival days.
Like other companies that run festival volunteering we do have to ask for a deposit. We know this isn't ideal but we have realised that this reduces the drop off. Festival organisers rely on stewards for their events license so we need to make sure that everyone who applies shows up on the day.
We will make sure the deposit will get refunded as soon as possible after your last festival so you’re not out of pocket for too long.
Please note that your application is not complete until you have paid the deposit so please make sure to pay it straight away.
The festivals with volunteering opportunities this year are:
Field Day: 3 June in Victoria Park, London
Lovebox: 14-15 July in Victoria Park, London
Citadel: 16 July in Victoria Park, London
Wilderness: 3-6 August in Cornbury Park, Oxfordshire (please note that we need you onsite from the 2-7 August)
If you want to volunteer, please fill out the form below to apply.
