Volunteer at festivals with War Child

War Child Lovebox festival

Volunteering is a great way to experience a festival this summer. You will not only get the chance to attend the festivals for free but you will also help some of the most vulnerable children affected by war. What could be better?

This year we need volunteers for Wilderness. (We will also be at Lovebox [Friday and Saturday] and Citadel but unfortunately we have fully recruited for them. However, if you're still interested in volunteering for those please email festivals@warchild.org.uk to be placed onto a waiting list.)

You’ll be the eyes and ears of the festival; providing information to festival goers, directing queues, staffing emergency exits, and generally making sure everyone is happy and safe.

You will get free entry to the festival and a meal voucher per shift on top of meeting new people and learning new skills.

ForWilderness you will have to fulfil 3x 8-hour shifts over the four festival days.

Deposit scheme

Like other companies that run festival volunteering we do have to ask for a deposit. We know this isn't ideal  but we have realised that this reduces the drop off. Festival organisers rely on stewards for their events license so we need to make sure that everyone who applies shows up on the day.

We will make sure the deposit will get refunded as soon as possible after your last festival so you’re not out of pocket for too long.

Please note that your application is not complete until you have paid the deposit so please make sure to pay it straight away.

The festivals with volunteering opportunities this year are:

Wilderness: 3-6 August in Cornbury Park, Oxfordshire (PLEASE NOTE: we need you onsite from the 2-7 August)

If you want to volunteer, please fill out the form below to apply.
