Royal Parks Half Marathon
Join Team War Child for Britain’s most beautiful city run – and make a difference to children caught up in brutal conflict.
Date: the 2017 Royal Parks Half Marathon is on 8 October.
Route: 13.1 miles – nice, flat, scenic running through London’s Hyde Park, Kensington Gardens, St James's Park and Green Park, and past historic landmarks like Buckingham Palace and the Royal Albert Hall. A perfect route, whether you’re an experienced runner or trying it for the first time.
Registration fee: £40
Fundraising target: £400 per runner – this will make a big difference to the lives of war-affected children.

If you don’t fancy the running, you can still ‘volunteer to cheer’ – sign up to say you’ll come along and lend vocal support to the War Child runners (and others) on the day. We’ll be there to support our runners every step of the way!
What you'll get from us...
We offer free training tips in advance, to help you get the most fun from your run, as well as fundraising ideas to help you make the most money from your run!
We’ll provide you with a cool, highly desirable War Child running vest too, and lots of useful fundraising materials.
You’ll get an invitation to a special training run and a ‘Get to know War Child’ event beforehand, and a celebratory post-race reception at the end of the half marathon.
