SUDAN EMERGENCY APPEAL

Children affected by the war in Sudan are living through the world’s worst humanitarian crisis. 

Ongoing brutal fighting and armed violence in Sudan’s civil war is forcing children and their families to flee their homes, leaving everything they know behind. 

15 million children are in desperate need of humanitarian assistance. Large parts of the country are experiencing famine, and children are living in makeshift shelters, with no access to basic essentials. Many have witnessed violence so distressing, the trauma will last a lifetime. 

War Child is on the ground in Sudan and neighbouring countries, delivering urgently needed supplies to children caught up in this devastating conflict. Our local partners and teams are providing safe spaces and lifesaving mental health first aid for children who are orphaned and alone.
