Where will my money go?

The SMS and online donations we receive as part of our Syria appeal will go towards our work helping to protect Syrian children. If however, we receive more money than our Syrian projects can spend, then we will use the surplus money towards our vital work with children in other countries that aren’t in the media spotlight.

Who is the boy in the photo?

To protect the identities of the children we work with, we have changed the name and image of ‘Sam’ – the boy that features in the appeal. His story is however a real one, and is typical of many that we’ve encountered.

What is War Child doing in Syria?

Like most of the aid and humanitarian agencies, War Child has not been granted access into Syria itself. We have projects just over the border in Lebanon where we are supporting children whose families fled the conflict as refugees. Find out more here.

How much will the SMS donation cost & How much will War Child get?
