'EASTERN DRC THE WORST PLACE TO BE A CHILD'
The situation in eastern DRC is cause for great concern. According to a recent UN report eastern DRC is the worst place in the world for a child to be. War Child is particularly concerned about the increasing rate of conscription of children into armed forces, and what this means for their immediate protection as well as their long term reintegration. Read War Child's 'I Am Not Trash' report on child soldiers in DRC.
War Child is working very closely with key decision makers and other like minded organisations in order to address this injustice. The following are some of the policies that War Child is pushing.
