Understanding Global Interdependence and The Rights of the Child

Overview: Students will consider global interdependence and look closely at The United Nations Convention on the Rights of the Child. They will relate this gained knowledge to real life situations.

Objectives:

  • To gain an understanding of the concept of global interdependence
  • To gain knowledge of the United Nations Convention on the Rights of the Child (CRC) and begin to understand why it is important.
  • To apply what they have learnt about CRC to real life situations
  • To be able to relate the knowledge gained to their own personal experience.
