Kate Moss - friend of UK charity War Child British supermodel Kate Moss has appeared on over 300 magazine covers, numerous high profile catwalks around the globe and was recently the subject of a £1.5 million gold statue unveiled at the British Museum. Kate Moss was chosen as the subject for Marc Quinn's piece because he described her as "The ideal beauty of the moment.".

Kate Moss is perhaps also known for her previous relationship with Babyshambles frontman Pete Doherty, which became regularly featured in the tabloids.

Despite the controversy often surrounding one of Britain's most successful women, Kate Moss has given her time and support to Breakthrough Breast Cancer, Cancer Research UK and War Child.

Kate Moss teamed up with her then boyfriend Johnny Depp and rock legends Oasis to play tambourine on the track 'Fade Away' in 1995 for War Child's original Help album, which you can buy here.
