The Annual Gala Concert For War Child

Event date: Saturday 18 October 2008

Location: Plymouth

The annual Gala Concert & Dinner in aid of War Child enters its 10th year at the South Gallery, Plymouth City Museum & Art Gallery on Saturday 18 October at 7pm.

Started by Jeanie Moore 10 years ago on her 70th birthday as a means of fundraising for War Child, Jeanie now celebrates her 80th birthday with another Gala Concert. Over the years many celebrated musicians have graced the podium, giving generously of their time.

Another important factor is that the two sponsors for this event have been supporting us for the past 8 years; Wolferstans, Plymouth Solicitors and Atkey Goodman, Plymouth Accountants. Their contribution covers all expenses, and all ticket revenue, donations from wine and collection boxes goes to WAR child

The Gala Concert will feature the following Guest Artistes:

Craig Ogden: Classical guitar

Judith Hall: Flute

Peter Cigleris: Clarinet

Gemma Dudgeon: Soprano

Concert tickets are £12 payable to War Child.

Tickets for the dinner are £10 payable to Jeanie Moore.
