War Child Launches 'Army of You'

On the eve of Thursday 23rd May 2007, War Child launched it’s annual New Band extravaganza Army of You with a rocking night at Camden’s Koko.
The Noisettes, headlining for the evening were supported by a stellar line-up that featured some of the most exciting up and coming UK musical talent around at the time.

The fashion industry’s favourites These New Puritans were joined by Late of the Pier, Metronomy and Friendly Fires. Manning the wheels of steel for the evening were the Rakes, the Filthy Dukes and there was even a special appearance by the fantastic Simian Mobile Disco.

With flyer artwork created by illustrator extraordinaire Kate Moross, media partnership from Dazed & Confused and sponsorship from Energie Jeans, the event proved to be a huge success with War Child’s youth audience and plans are a foot to repeat it every year.
