MOBY: Destroyed - Event & Exhibition
MOBY is celebrating the launch of his tenth studio album 'Destroyed' and accompanying photography book by hosting an exhibition of some of the images in Proud Camden.
Destroyed is a behind-the-scenes international odyssey with Moby, introducing a side of touring that is often unexposed: secluded time spent in artificial spaces, from hotel rooms and airports to backstage waiting areas are juxtaposed by images of flashing cameras and clamouring fans.
Written late at night in hotel rooms around the world, the album and photo book combine to provide an intimate look at Moby’s world and his creative process as an artist: both the music and photos were created in the same period and draw inspiration from the strange and sublime world of touring.
LAUNCH PARTY
Moby himself will be taking to Proud Camden’s famous Main Gallery stage to play an exclusive DJ set at the official launch after party on May 17, which will be open to the public from 8.30pm following the VIP private view. Joining him will be Rob Da Bank, Pete Tong, Man Without Country, D/R/U/G/S and Rex the Dog.
Tickets are £5 and availabe here. All profits will be donated by Moby to War Child.
