The John Lennon Estate are proud to announce the release of GIMME SOME TRUTH., released on Saturday, 22 April for Record Store Day 2023.
Originally released in 1971, Gimme Some Truth has been stylishly reformatted for Record Store Day 2023 in a redesigned Whiteout Box Set Edition comprising 9 white vinyl 10" 45rpm Audiophile EP discs (4 tracks per disc) mastered & recut by Alex Wharton at Abbey Road Studios, sleeved and slipcased with unique Whiteout versions of the booklet, poster, postcards and bumper sticker.
As long-standing supporters of independent record stores around the world, The John Lennon Estate are proud to be part of Record Store Day 2023 with this new, exclusive, limited-edition release.
This release is strictly limited to 1,500 copies globally and available from participating Independent Record Stores from 22nd April 2023.
An online auction featuring 9 box-sets (x3 UK / x3 US / x3 ROW) that will come signed by Sean Ono Lennon, with proceeds from the 3 UK sales going exclusively to War Child will also take place.
