We're supporting a new film which is coming to London next month as part of the Artivist Film Festival.

Set in northern Uganda, 'Children of War', directed by Bryan Single, chronicles the daily struggle towards rehabilitation and reconciliation by a group of recently escaped child soldiers of the Lord’s Resistance Army, one of the world’s longest running and most brutal militias. To add perspective to the stories of these children, the film also follows the chief priest of the Lord’s Resistance Army, as well as recipients of the Army’s professed miracles and victims of its atrocities. Together these individuals will illuminate the pitfalls, challenges and triumphs of a war-sick society desperately attempting to transition from violence to peace.
It's a great film that captures the reality of life for thousands of children caught in the turmoil of the bloody war that has ravaged Uganda and Congo for years.
The film is being shown at the opening night of the Festival at the Shaw Theatre in London on Friday 5th March at 8pm. We'll be there to talk part in a Q&A session afterwards. Tickets for the screening are available here.
