War Child are proud to present ‘The Pub Landlord’s Southbank Jukebox’ a unique night of legendary British comedy and music, hosted and headlined by multi award-winning Al Murray, The Pub Landlord.

The Pub Landlord has selected a line-up of ‘top turns’ for the ultimate British night out. The People’s Publican will be joined by the nation’s finest music and comedy – for one night of the best entertainment you could find in any venue.

Together with charity War Child, The Guv has recruited two of the biggest names in UK music: Madness and Plan B. Two uniquely and classically English pop acts - one of the most legendary acts we have ever produced and our hottest current chart-topping star. The line-up will also feature two of his fellow top stars of Brit comedy, Jason Manford and Rob Deering.

YOU CAN WIN A PAIR OF TICKETS TO THE EVENT BY MAKING AL MURRAY LAUGH. SEE HERE FOR DETAILS.

Madness are one of Britain’s most successful ever pop acts with 17 top ten singles, and 214 weeks in the charts in the 1980s, their album ‘The Liberty Of Norton Folgate’ was one of 2009’s most acclaimed albums. Plan B is 2010’s biggest star, with two top ten singles including ‘She Said’ and a platinum selling number one album.

Jason Manford is 2010’s hottest comic star, the new host of ‘The One Show’, a captain on Channel 4’s ‘8 Out Of Ten Cats’ and a major stand-up talent, he headlined the O2 Arena earlier this year.

The event will take place at London’s Royal Festival Hall on Tuesday July 27th, tickets are priced at £30 and £35 and will be on sale from 10am Thursday June 10th. Tickets are available from www.southbankcentre.co.uk and www.seetickets.com. All profits go to War Child.

Al Murray, The Pub Landlord says: “Join me for a night of top British entertainment on London’s Southbank with cast iron classic hit machine Madness. Who knows, maybe we’ll have won the World Cup by then? Or we’ll still be drowning our sorrows!”

Madness say: “"Madness are very proud to be able to support War Child. These kids are in circumstances no one should ever find themselves in and if we can help in any way then that sure is something"

Ben Knowles, Music Director of War Child says: “Not only will this be an evening of entertainment with a difference, but it is a night that can make a life-changing difference to children in war zones around the world.”
