Help! - A Day in the Life
To celebrate the tenth anniversary of our iconic Help album, we asked 20 of the UK’s finest bands and artists to donate a day of their lives to record a track for War Child.
On 8th September 2005 the artists entered recording studios across Europe. The album was made available for purchase at 6pm the following day.
Help! A Day in the Life became the fastest recorded number one album in British music history. 80,000 tracks were downloaded in a weekend – making it at the time the fastest downloaded album ever.
