1Love

In 2002 we teamed up with NME magazine to release the 1 Love album. We asked 16 contemporary artists to cover a track that had reached no. 1 in the singles charts.

Featuring contributions from the Manic Street Preachers, Feeder, Prodigy, Muse, Oasis and Elbow – the album was a response to the uncertainty and insecurity the world faced following the 9/11 attacks less than a year earlier. It was an important time for the music industry to respond with a message of hope and unity.
