How you can help
We need to raise £1.5m to continue our work in Iraq. Any contribution you make to our appeal can make a real difference to the lives of the children we work with. Here are some examples of what we will be able to acheive with your donations:
- £1.50 could help War Child help protect one child for over 6 months.
- £5 could pay for a Family Liaison Officer for a day
- £10 could ensure teachers and staff at a centre for children are trained in child protection
- £50 could pay for food in a drop in centre for street children for two weeks
- £100 could provide medical supplies for a drop in centre for street children
- £200 could pay for a small business grant for families, including those who currently have to depend on their child working on the street
- £300 could buy a computer for children at the drop in centre to use
- £1,400 could build a playground in a drop in centre for street children
- £5,000 could pay for a community grant, helping a number of families suffering the severe impact of war
