What motivated you to do this challenge?:

I wanted to feel physically challenged, in an environment that was totally different from my own.

Why did you choose to raise money for War Child?:

I work with adults in the corporate world providing coaching and mentoring support and one of the aspects of my role is to encourage people to know that they have a choice. By choosing War Child I felt I would be helping children that have been abandoned or forgotten about who will have little or no choice about what happens to their lives and who will find it impossible to focus on the future, which in my opinion is the basic right of all children, that and the right to a childhood.
