What motivated you to do this challenge?:

I was looking to get fitter and more active and I knew that I needed an event to focus my training on

Why did you choose to raise money for War Child?:

I wasn’t sure if I should run for charity or just do it quietly without really telling anyone, but I’d heard of War Child previously and thought I’d check out your website before I decided. After reading about some of the children War Child helps (Taiba’s story is one that sticks in my mind) it’s impossible not to feel compelled to try and help, and my mind was made up.

I hope more people begin running for War Child too, believe me if I can do it then anyone can, and it would be great to have a real War Child presence at some of these events.
