Our fundraising promises to you:

War Child is a member of the Fundraising Standards Board (FRSB) self-regulatory scheme. The FRSB works to ensure that organisations raising money from the public do so honestly and properly.

  • We promise to respect you and your decisions.

We will never put any undue pressure on you to make a donation to us, and we will do all we can to ensure that no agencies or contractors working on our behalf will do so either. If you don’t want to make a gift, or want to cease your regular donations then we will respect your decision

  • We promise not to share your details with anyone else.

We will keep your contact details and email address safe and we will never pass them on to any third parties.

  • We promise to treat your debit/credit card security as seriously as you do.

If you donate online, we will redirect you through a secure payment gateway. We will never store or even see your card or bank account details. If you donate by phone, your card details will be destroyed securely once the transaction has been processed.

  • We promise to keep you informed. And hopefully inspired.

Through our website, newsletters and social networks we will keep you updated on the life-transforming ways your money is being spent and what impact it is having. We hope that's how we will inspire you to stay involved with War Child.

  • We promise to stop keeping you informed if that's what you'd like.

We'll always make it easy for you to choose not to receive any more email newsletters. We will include an 'unsubscribe' button on every one.

  • We promise to thank you.

We will always endeavour to acknowledge and thank you for every donation.

  • We promise to provide a fast, friendly service.

We aim to provide quick, honest and helpful feedback and support. Please email us at fundraising@warchild.org.uk , send us a tweet or give us a ring on 0207 916 9276 and ask to speak to someone in the Fundraising team. We're proud to be a member of the Fundraising Standards Board.

  • We promise not to take you for granted.

We don't get it right every time. But that's because we're a small charity with limited fundraising resources, not because we aren't enormously grateful to every single one of our brilliant supporters and fundraisers. You're all life-savers and we hope you feel as proud of that as we do.
