Lost Masters launch party

Thursday 24th July 2008, Proud Galleries, Camden, London

What if Lennon and McCartney had thrown down the songwriting gauntlet to George and Ringo? What if Jimi Hendrix, on hearing news of Martin Luther King’s death, had launched into an impromptu live jam in tribute to the fallen civil rights leader?

A new exhibition by Max Lowry in aid of War Child explores these ideas, revealing the artwork for a selection of ‘Lost Masters’.  Win tickets to the launch party and get an exclusive sneak peek at this intriguing collection of art.

Keane Live at Brixton Academy

1st November 2007, Brixton Academy

Long time War Child supporters Keane are kicking off our Iraq appeal in style with a star-studded gig at Brisxton Academy. They've brought together some of their favourite artists and best friends to raise funds for our work in Iraq. With Pet Shop Boys, Lily Allen, Guillemots, The Magic Numbers, Brendan Benson and Findlay Brown on the line-up it should be an incredible evening.

Keane Live at Manchester Apollo

31st October, Manchester Apollo

Keane will be joined by Findlay Brown and Milburn in the first of two gigs for War Child. The money raised by this gig will go towards our work with children affected by conflict in Iraq, Afghanistan, Democratic Republic of Congo and Uganda. It's also the first time they've played a big venue outside of London for a while so there's plenty of reasons to get along.
